FROZEN Version  

Information on Frozen Versions

In order to facilitate some of the ICD-11 work such as reviews, field trials, etc. we prepare frozen versions of the classification. You are currently browsing a frozen version.

Please note that some functionality such as login, commenting, version history, notifications, etc. are not available in the frozen versions. Frozen versions are mainly for browsing/searching a specific version of ICD-11. For the additional functionality, please refer to the live ICD-11 browser at

ICD-11 Browser

ICD-11 Browser is a web site that allows users see the current state of development of the ICD 11th Revision

The content on this site is updated daily with new content.

In addition to browsing and searching the classification, ICD-11 Browser allows its users to contribute to the ICD-11 development by writing comments, making change proposals, help translations, etc.

This User Guide provides details on the usage of the site. You may navigate the user guide by using the links on the left or go back to he ICD-11 Browsing by using the menus. Below are several important information that will help you use the site more efficiently.

Help Icon

The ICD11 Browser application includes context sensitive help which you may access by clicking on the icon. This icon is located in several different locations in the application and when clicked gives you information in a pop-up window. These pop-up windows can be closed by clicking on the X at the top right side of the window.

Tooltips

Another useful feature is the tooltip functionality. When you move your mouse on any icon or a button for a second or so, the system will give you more information on the functionality of the icon.

Changing what to browse

By default the browser displays the "Joint Linearization for Mortality and Morbidity Statistics". You may switch the view to the Foundation or any other linearization by using the Foundation and Linearizations menus
